Is Saudi Immigration so strict that they will not allow you to bring your own hair gel, toothpaste, shampoo?

You can bring all your personal hygiene items with you as long as they don't look suspicious. Is Saudi Immigration so strict that they will not allow you to bring your own hair gel, toothpaste, shampoo?
You can bring all those things. You can also bring cologne, even if it has alcohol in it. I wouldn't worry too much. If you can take it on the plane, then you can bring it in Saudi Arabia. When I came, they didn't even open our bags.

The only things you definitely shouldn't bring are pork, alcoholic beverages, anything with nudity (magazines, books, movies, games, etc.), also religious materials (I think the concern is distributing material, like missionaries). Is Saudi Immigration so strict that they will not allow you to bring your own hair gel, toothpaste, shampoo?
in fact. they are more lenient than in USA.. all that restriction on what sort of container and how much liquid shampoo toothpaste etc in USA airports. we dont have that here in the arab gulf yet.. (YET).. im sure they might start..

everytime I fly around. I carry all my shampoos, toothpastes, etc... no problem.. I also carry my nail file, toenail clippers, tweezers, etc.. no one said anything about those yet...

but as the person above stated.. no pork produces, no liquor/alcohol.. (this might include stuff like cough medicine and listerine mouthwash with alcohol).. although our stores sell them, I wouldnt want to be caught by an unlearned customs official about them... .. no religious books or pamphlets. etc.. no porno or questionable videos or books.. no politcal articles or books about Saudiarabia.. other than that.. your ok to go...
no, not strict

just dont get something that has drug or alcohol, or labels with explicit pictures
This not true at all

Saudi Arabia is like any other country

welcome to Saudi Arabia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No... you can bring all that stuff. I've brought these things into Dammam, and across the causeway.
they're not that strict.
those things are fine
from what I know that is fine......
