yes some types of mange can be passed from dog to dog... she should've taken the dog to the vet for meds... the vet will be able to tell you if it can be given to another dog.

Mites are just in the ears - does your dog have mange?


If it is fleas, no shampoo will help, the dog needs to have a monthly topical liquid like Frontline or Advantage put on the back of its neck every single month - that keeps all fleas off.





Fleas do transfer to humans and other dogs -mites and mange can also transfer to other dogs, but less easily. You really need to know what you are dealing with here. If it is anything but fleas, get to a vet to identify the problem.





If you are doing dips for mange, I wouldn't do them in the bathtub - use a plastic or metal tub just for that.
