You have to get one that specifically says it's ok for hair. Some body washes may have a pH level that is damaging to hair. Slightly acidic washes are best for hair, and have the effect of ';smoothing'; the hair, but slightly basic ones tend to have the effect of ';frizzing'; the hair strands. Liquid soap is usually basic, but some body washes are not.
Yup :0) There are certain shower gels that are designed for use on your hair too. Personally I prefer Sonic Death Monkey by Lush.
