Can I bring hair gel and shampoo on a plane?

See TSA site below for all info. any liquids in your carry-on must be in 3 0z. or less size bottles and all those must be in one 1 quart size zip lock bag. You may put larger bottles in your checked luggage. Can I bring hair gel and shampoo on a plane?
I don't think so. When I was boarding a plane from Ottawa to Vancouver, there was this woman in front of me in the security check. She said that she didn't have any liquids (which include hair gel and shampoo) in her carry -on. But she did, and later, she actually got arrested. I'm not sure whether you can bring it on the luggage that goes in the belly of the airplane or not, but I do not recommend it. Hope this helps!

Jerry C. Can I bring hair gel and shampoo on a plane?
you can if it's in a travel size, it has to be 3 ounces or less. Try the website for your airline they should have a section on what you can and can't bring and probably a link to a website for the FAA.
no you can't.

last summer I bought some sun cream from the shop at the airport, and they took it off me when I went through security. THEN, just around the corner in duty free, I could buy it again! so bloody cheeky. the swines ; )
you can bring a small oz on the plane. but the question would be. WHY would you?
in 3 ounce or smaller containers and they must be put in a quart size bag and given to tsa to inspect when passing through security.
