Soap and shampoo and conditioner companies have products marketed towards men. What makes these different from the woman and other products? What's different about Men's shampoo and body gel?
mainly the packaging and price. Mainly the price.
Maybe you're meaning body wash and not gel? I believe body wash has more a scent that stays with you. What's different about Men's shampoo and body gel?
The first answer is basically right, it's the smell, but for most men it is good to use an antibacterial body wash, we tend to sweat more and in places where bacteria can grow at an alarming rate... as far as shampoo goes.. just stay away from the one's that say ';dandruff'; because all they do is create more dandruff, if dandruff is a problem make sure you use a conditioner with placenta in it... this will fix the dandruff problems.. but in the end soap is soap, some just strip the oils we need more than others, and can lead to dryness of the skin and scalp, shop around and use your best judgement
They tend to have more woody (pun intended) and herbal and citrus scents that are considered more masculine than the products for women, which are generally more flowery and sweet-smelling. Other than that, there's little difference.
The hint is in you question 'marketing'. There's absolutely no difference, but they can make twice as much money from making mens products because they rely that a lot of men wont want to buy a 'womans' product.
