Shower gel is meant for your body.





It is really harsh and could do great harm to your hair.


You COULD wash it with it if you want, but it will really dry out your hair.

chemically i don't know the difference, but i do know that the PH balance is different based on the amounts of chemicals that are in them. hair and skin have different PH levels and it's not wise to use 1 product for the other.
shower gel is a fancy word for LIQUID SOAP!!! it contains alcohol, you can use it for shampoo, but its like useing a bar of soap!!!! and it will dry your hair out!!!! if you are just wondering b/c you want a good cheap shampoo, try PAUL MITCHELL. its very affordable and is great for your hair!
shower gel is definately a body wash and specifically for your body. Shampoo is for just hair. I dont think it would harm your much if you used body wash as a shampoo, i dont think they would make it harmful for any part of the body, including hair.
I wouldn't... shower gel has harsher cleaning products than shampoo and will strip your hair and give you split ends.
