Are there any smooting gels or sprays or other such products that can be applied when the hair is not wet or damp? My hair is really long and takes a long time to dry, even with a blow dryer, so I wash it at night. I have an Aussie smoothing gel I use, but by morning, my hair is frizzy again. Or perhaps a really good anti-friz stuff that would last through sleeping?Smoothing Gels/Sprays/Shampoos?
I have been cursed with dry, frizzy, fine hair all my adult life, and when I was younger it was thick and bushy as well.
The only way I found to tame it was to brush in a little jojoba oil, starting at the ends and then brushing down, four inches at a time (but with yours, maybe you could get away with eight!). After a thorough brushing to distribute the oil evenly, the hair became wavy rather than frizzy and far easier to handle. It also felt better after the next wash.
The other thing I discovered, which might be good if you live in a hard water area, is Shikakai powder. This is Indian soapnut, the fruit of the acacia, and it is particularly good for making hair feel silky (and therefore less likely to frizz). You mix it in a pot with some water until it is the consistency and appearance of mud. You then rub well in and leave it a few minutes - the longer the better, but 5-10 minutes is fine. You then rinse it out and dry it as normal.
It's made in Mumbai, India. I get it from: http://www.spicesofindia.co.uk/acatalog/?/a>
but you can also get it at a price from Amazon:http://www.amazon.com/Hesh-Shikakai-Herb?/a> or from:
http://www.mehndiskinart.com/Shikakai_Po?/a>
Here is the Hesh link too:

supper skinny serum by paul mitchel but they make the same stuff in almost every brand, its just this silky oilish stuff you run through your hair at the ends, its not oil at all but it makes my hair lay down more and less frizzy i use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine which is an anti-friz serum...its smells ok but the paul mitchel kind smells better and so do others....try it out...but don't put in near your roots or it might end up looking greasy...just the tips....hope this helps!
the product in the video below is from mixed chicks. it really is the only consistent thing i use that works. but sorry, you do have to air dry. believe me, i have tried many systems and this works best. good luck:

Why do they bother listing the ingredients on the back of shampoos, shower gels, perfumes etc?
I can understand listing the ingredients on food products because we all generally know what they are: water, sugar, salt, vegetables, meats etc. We can check ingredients and pick items according to what we want or prefer to avoid. But what is the point of listing ingredients such as C1-2 Succinates/Hydroxyacrylates Copolymer, Sorbitol, Protonal Hydrocytene, Propylene Glycol, PPG-1-PEG-9 Lauryl Glycol Ether, Tetrasodium EDTA etc? Is anyone actually checking these ingredients before they buy a product?
The ten points goes to the first person who correctly identifies the bogus ingredient. Why do they bother listing the ingredients on the back of shampoos, shower gels, perfumes etc?
They put the ingredients on it because the law requires it. And yes there are people who check to see what is in the stuff before they buy it.
As to what all those words on the bottle mean, it would take a rocket scientist or a chemist to understand that.
The bogus ingredient is Protonal Hydrocytene. I'm guessing, but it's as good a guess as any.
Addendum: Excellent, I sometimes read the labels just so I can see the strange words. I like reading new words. Why do they bother listing the ingredients on the back of shampoos, shower gels, perfumes etc?
In a lot of products, water is a major ingredient. The other ingredients either add color or fragrance or is a preservative. The names sound complicated but can refer to things like formaldehyde, or alcohol which keep germ or fungal growth at bay. Shampoos that are specifically for dandruff/psoriasis control have a tar base that smells very strong. You would be surprised to know that some of the ingredients that you have listed are also found in some household cleaners. As consumers, companies assume the general public only listens to commercials as to what the skin/hair product will do. They don't count on you resourcing. Yes, it is true that ingredients must be listed on products by law. This way if you have an allergy to any chemical they cover themselves by stating it was on the product.
Well, as others have already told you,
#1) allergies ~ I personally am allergic to cocoa butter which is used in a lot of lotions, soaps, and tanning products. My husband is fructose intolerant and cannot have anything with ANY kind of sugar in it - real or artificial - he can only use Aspartame
#2) it's the law because of reason #1
took a while, but Protonal hydrocytene - no such thing --
I used to check the labels faithfully back when they still added formaldehyde to shampoos. I didn't want to use a well documented carcinogen. But now that they don't use that any more I pretty much don't check shampoo or shower gel labels. But if another suspect ingredient is mentioned in the news or elsewhere at least with the ingredient labels being mandatory I'll have the option of looking out for that particular substance. That's my take on it anyway.
I personally always read shampoo labels. I won't buy anything with sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate in it. I was losing my hair and those ingredients were the cause. They're in many popular shampoos. Many people know if they have problems with certain ingredients, and they DO read the labels.
It is the law that all active and inactive ingredients be placed on products. At one time, people were putting all kinds of dangerous chemicals in dyes and shampoos. My grandad almost went blind trying to dye his hair way back in the olden days. It is for our own protection. We can always look up the words to see how that particular ingredient contributes to the product.
At the hospital, they asked my wife to bring in all the cosmetics/soaps she uses to eliminate or confirm whatever chemical or substance she was intolerant to.
Now she knows what to avoid, she can check all labelling on everything.
Some people are allergic to simple herbs that lots of cosmetics contain
Maybe because some people could be allergic to some of the stuff they use, i cant use any shower gels or soaps with any scent to it they will give me a rash and perfumes give me migraines, but i have to admit i never check the ingrediants. I just know what i can and cant use
How about us that don't think they need to read the directions on the bottle of shampoo and conditioner, Last year I bought these bottle of both and I could feel this weirdest something in my hair, But dumb ole me kept right on using this shampoo and conditioner, It had oil beads in it and you were suppose to activate them by using a hair blow dryer, and I was letting my hair air dry
Believe it or not, there might be someone out there that will drink the stuff. I've heard of people that drank after shave lotion, because they thought there was alcohol in. So I suppose they would like to know that. There are people that ';snuff'; spray paint.
How about a good shot of pure lemon extract?
Legally obliged to provide the ingredients for those people who need to know what they are putting on their heads. I don't know what all the ingredients are, but do know that I am allergic to chamomile which is often in lotions or shampoos.
As you listed a bunch of different ingredients you probably understand that different people have different allergies, listing all that goes into a product will decrease the possibility of some one having issues because of a reaction.
well what if someone is ellergyic (or however u wanna spell it) to an ingredient in the shampoo, whatever... and htey put it on, and they break out... and stuff.
so if we stopped naming the ingredients, all the companies would be sued.
Something to do with FDA regulations. I only read the ingredients in comparison to other brands. Since I am not smart at all I guess I can't compete for your 10 points, isn't that a shame?
One reason is that it's the law. I can't stand anything with fragrance in it, so I read alot of labels. I have several types of allergies.
well, incase you have an allergy to any of the ingredients.
You wouldn't want to come out in red blotches or loose you hair would you?
Bogus ingredient: Sorbitol.
I am amazed that anyone can read the ingredients without a high powered magnifying glass.
Actually the most annoying thing to me is I have to get a magnifying glass to read it!!!
actually it is important some people are allergic to some of these products and could die so check
I have no idea what those ingredients are, but I do know it is the law to post them.
They want to make regular people like us feel stupid.
cuz if they dont then we could sue them and wouldnt that be a shame

100 % tea tree oil about 15 drops applied to the hair and scalp combed through thoroughly with lice comb removing any live crawleys.leave on for 10 to 15 mins and rinse, shampoo hair previously to doing this not afta.once rinsed comb hair again with nit comb and eggs should slid out easy.
Use the shampoo called 'NIX'; (that's the brand) which is available in most large food stores and many pharmacies and without a prescription. And it is not that expensive.
Go to the store and buy a head lice remover. They do sell things like that.
Wash every single clothing item and linen piece that was in contact with the infected head of hair. Buy an over-the-counter shampoo that has tea tree essential oil as its main ingredient, because tea tree is the most efficient anti-parasitic agent provided by mother nature, and because it's far less harmful than some other molecules used in anti-lice treatments. If you want to increase the efficiency of this shampoo, use this as a lotion 20 minutes at least before washing your hair : blend a tablespoon or two of cooking oil (olive oil, canola oil or sunflower oil for instance) with 4 or 5 drops of tea tree oil and apply to your scalp.
After the lotion and the shampoo, use a special comb with very fine teeth to remove the dead lice and eggs. Don't skip this step, because it helps prevent recurrence.
there is shampoo called medikar...apply on ur hair as per the directions mentioned n i hope u will get rid from them...or ask ur mom to clean ur hair from the lice...n oil ur hair and then comb wid special lice combs n i m sure this will help u...

Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?
i have this crazy curly hair, that i really love- but it's a bittersweet adoration. i can never get just the right texture and curl- either it's super shiny, defined curls and nastily crunchy, or impossible, frizzy, but soft and natural, i would love a happy medium. thanks so much for your replies!Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?
use the john frieda range for your hair - frizz ease to control the frizz, and their smoothing shampoo/conditioner, and mousse.Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?
The best way... go to a salon, and get a conditioning shampoo. you can't limit yourself to one product, such as mousse. You must use several... mousse to blow dry and/or scrunch with, a shine spray, then finish up with a finishing spray. i'm a hair stylist. you may want to try some ';biolage- smoothing serum'; works wonders. one of my favourites, the paul mitchell:express style- worked up, and i really like the sebastian or paul mitchell finishing sprays. good luck!
ever heard of a razor?
lot's of celebs and jocks do it
Definitely...There are so many out right now.
It can be really fun. Try adding product to your hair when it's wet, before you comb it out, and after it's dry, before you run your fingers through it, or possibly a comb. Be careful, it creates friction...which creates frizz. Some leave in conditioners help get rid of the crunchy factor, (ie.Sexy hair concepts or Tigi), when used in conjunction with a curling creme or spray.

Redken Ringlet 07 is the best for curly hair..no matter what type of curls you have it makes them ringlets. it doesnt make hair hard, it shines and smells great. would definitely give it a try.
I have pretty much the same hair type,so I see where you are coming from there! A few tips that I have picked up along the way...
- Use a good quality hair conditioner, curly hair tends to be dry by nature so will respond well to a good conditioner. My faves at the moment are Tigi 'Curls Rock' Conditioner and Joico 'Moisturise'.
- Leave the conditioner in your hair for as long as possible in the shower and afterwards rinse it out in cold water.... as cold as you can tolerate it Hot water tends to make your hair frizz otherwise
- After washing it, wrap it in a towel but avoid rubbing it etc as it tends to make it go a little on the frizzy side!
- Use a hair mousse designed for curly hair... I'd definitely use the Frizz Ease stuff- it rocks!
Apart from that I'd just say see a good hairdresser who understands curly hair, as the way it is cut/ layered etc makes a big difference to how manageable it is. I also tend to keep it at a reasonable length as I find if it gets too long that weight of it tends to pull the curl downwards making it seem more frizzy than curly.
Good Luck! :)
Oh and I'm also interested in any other tips that people have!
I have long, thick curly hair; and for what seemed forever I had tried looking for the perfect solution to tame my unruly mane. After trying literally every hair product available, I found that these products were absolutely the best, and will give you the best satisfactory results:

#1: Best shampoo %26amp; conditioner for frizzy hair Kerastase has the best products in our opinion for curly hair. Their Nutritive Bain Elasto-Curl Shampoo is praised by beauty experts for its intense moisturizing properties. It will soften coarse, curly hair while enhancing your natural curl without letting it get frizzy on you.
For conditioners, go the Kerastase route again, with its Nutritive Masquintense conditioner:

Best hair-styling cream Creams are a must for calming flyaways while boosting shine. We love Ojon Conditioning Finishing Paste. This product works great on dry hair. Simply rub a bit between your hands then palm over your curly hair.
#3. Best shine serums for curly hair Smooth frizz %26amp; flyaways with a great shine serum. A great less-expensive project (about $6) is Neutrogena Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum:
A medium-price gloss to try is Bumble %26amp; Bumble 'DeFrizz'
A great-but-pricey gloss is Rene Furterer Spray Gloss:
#4. Best relaxing balms Another great way to tame coarse, flyaway hair is to use a relaxing balm. You'll love these lightweight textures that won't leave hair feeling greasy:
PhytoDefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm. This relaxing balm is considered a must-have in every stylist's kit, according to InStyle magazine's 'Best Beauty Buys' 2006 issue.
We also like KMS Flat-Out Relaxing Balm
#5. Best styling gel for curly hair The pros say Senscience Smooth Gelee ($13, call 800-626-3684) is perfect for taming coarse, curly hair. It's also great when blow-drying or ironing hair straight. You'll find it won't make hair stiff, a bad effect of using many gels.
No perm or professional relaxer will do the miracle work of these products! Try each one and see which one you like the best.
Hair straightening shampoos, creams, sprays, gels, etc?
What is the best hair straightening serum that works well? I have wavy VERY frizzy hair that I straighten most days. Sometimes I use Sunsilk straight iron effect, but that doesn't work as well as my straightening irons. It doesn't last as long either. Are there any shampoos, conditioners, gels, etc to straighten and stop frizz?
Any tips would be appreciated as well.

Why does my hair gel only seem to hold well right after my hair has been shampooed? What can I do?
I have slightly curly hair and use Garnier curl gel. If I shampoo everyday my hair feels dry and brittle. On days when I just rinse and condition my, the gel seems like it flakes off starting right after it dries and it looks terrible, frizzy, stringy/fallen flat, by the end of the day. What can I do?Why does my hair gel only seem to hold well right after my hair has been shampooed? What can I do?
You are absolutely right about hair product companies...All they care about is money! They add things to their products that are bad for your hair and not only that but completely unnecessary! As far as gel goes I have tried the cheap gels you buy at the store and all the did was flake, and make my hair look terrible towards half the day.
Then I started using salon gels and they worked very well but they are so expensive because I have to use a lot of gel in my hair sense it is so thick and full.
Then I did some research and found a recipe one how to make your own hair gel. So I gave it a shot and OMG! I couldn't believe how great it worked! No flakes, no frizz, and it holds all day! The best part of it all is that it is all natural so it won't damage your hair, and you can buy the ingredients in the store for under 5 bucks and it lasts a long time. I even think its better than the salon gels I have been using!
Here is the recipe
1/2 Tablespoon of unflavored gelatin (you can find this where are the jell-o is at)
1 cup of warm water
1 teaspoon of honey
Dissolve the honey in warm water then add the gelatin and stir until it is completely dissolved, then pour mixture into a jar, container or an old gel bottle (just make sure you wash it out good first). Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before use. You must keep this product refrigerated and its good for one week, then throw it away. Why does my hair gel only seem to hold well right after my hair has been shampooed? What can I do?
Well, I guess you have to figure out which one is worse, clean, dry and brittle hair, or oily, flaky, frizzy, stringly, fallen flat hair.
I suggest you shampoo and condition every day. I've been doing that for years (never dyed my hair, rarely use straighteners, irons, or hair dryers.)
It's because your hair is too oily and dirty for the gel to do any good. My hair does that too if I run out of shampoo or something and can only use conditioner. It feels really gross.
Use lukwarm water to rinse your hair, don't scald your hair with really hot water. Limit using any heating or drying tools.
If you can't, then you just have to deal with it.

NEITHER is going to make your hair curl unless it is already curly. Those products are designed to control the curl or help it stay in place better.
now if you use them and set your hair in curls it will help the curls stay sleek and in place....acne

I suffer from a skin condition which can flare up if there is perfume etc. in the soap/ shampoo. I feel for you since it is a very unopleasant state of affairs.
I have found that EMULSIFYING OINTMENT IS VERY GOOD. It works just like soap and leaves your skin with more natural oil than soap and it leaves no perefume or colouring agent on your skin.
A doctor told me that part of the trouble was that I was very clean in my personal washing. Every time that you wash, for a time, you remove some of the natural oils in your skin that protect your body. I believe that the process is called ';leaching';.
I am afraid that I cannot answer the rest of your question but I would suggest that you begin with the emusifying ointment and it will open the avenues of investigation that you may need to follow.
Since British and American pharmaceutical terms are different I cannot give you a name. However, you pharmacist
will be able to help you. Why not try him/her? Drugs are their tools of trade so a word to the wise cannot go far wrong.
Best of luck.

For men with curly hair, what looks better, just shampooing or using some sort of styling gel?
Depends on the girl, and it also depends on your personal sense of style. Using a product on your hair can help control the curls a bit, but you can use product and make it appear more natural. If you have shorter curly hair, try putting a small but of moose or gel ( if your hair stands up well on it's own, use gel. if you need more volume, use moose) in you hair and working through well. use a blowdryer and work with the curls. it will give you a very natural look. if you have more questions, feel free to IM me or e-mail me. Shampoo's & Shower gels?
Why is it, that no matter what colour the shampoo/shower gel is (Pink/Green/Blue)
When it lathers its always white?Shampoo's %26amp; Shower gels?
Let us see how soap lathers. What makes Soap Lather?
Soap molecules are long chains of atoms that have two main parts:
A polar ';head'; that is attracted to water molecules and repelled by oil, and a hydrocarbon tail that is repelled by water and attracted to oil.
The hydrophobic (';water fearing';) tails of the soap molecules naturally try to get out of a watery solution and collect at any available surface. When that surface is air, the soap molecules arrange themselves in an orderly layer, with the hydrophilic (';water loving';) heads in the water and their oil loving tails in the air. Shaking a soap and water solution introduces pockets of air that, when big enough, appear as bubbles. A thin film of soap molecules coats each pocket, creating a bubble. When the shaking stops, the bubbles float to the surface. More soap and more stirring allow the formation of smaller bubbles. Foam or lather is just a conglomerate of these tiny soap bubbles. Although many people associate lather with the cleaning properties of soap, it is actually an incidental property resulting from the way the soap molecules are drawn to dirt and oil.
Since neither the polar ';head'; that is attracted to water molecules and repelled by oil, and the hydrocarbon tail that is repelled by water and attracted to oil.are coloured, the lather is white. The chemicals added for colouring the soap do not play any active part in the lathering processShampoo's %26amp; Shower gels?
I really can see no reason why it does that..it MAKES NO SENSE!!!
haha good question..........let me know when you figure it out!!
WHAT YOU CALL 'LATHER' IS BUBBLES!
my guess is because the bubbles that the foam is made out of are made of such a thin layer of the gel that the light goes through it and doesn't register the color with your eyes. Not sure about that, but thats my guess
i have always wondered the sammmmmmeeeee exact thing...ps sorry i didnt help it

What kind of vitamins or diet will make my hair naturally straight & soft? NOT asking for shampoos, gels, etc.
I have shory hair and its really curly, frizzy and dry. I dream of waking up and not having to wash my hair evey morning just to moisturize it. I wish there was a natural protein or something that I can take that would make my hair soft and straight.
im not looking for some kind of shampoo, gel or conditioner for temporarily results. i want something with lasting results - may be a certain food and certain vitamins.
thank you. What kind of vitamins or diet will make my hair naturally straight %26amp; soft? NOT asking for shampoos, gels, etc.
Your hair follicles are shaped a certain way that gives your hair its curl pattern. Straight hair has straight-shaped follicles, while curly hair has fishhook-shaped ones and kinky hair has follicles that double over on themselves. This is determined by genetics and there's not a thing you can do to change the shape of your hair follicles. You might as well try to change the shape of your eye.
The good news is that as your hair grows longer, it straightens out under its own weight. So you might want to consider longer hair if straightness is what you're after.
Vitamins may make your hair healthier, but they will not change its texture. The best thing you can do is get your ends trimmed regularly to avoid gnarly split ends that frizz up the hair.
You can make your hair healthier and shinier by eating foods or taking supplements that contain certain essential fatty acids; see this article: http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip122.?/a>
Oh, my God. I cannot believe that person above me said that because Asian cultures eat rice, their hair is straighter. They are two completely unrelated things. Does eating matzo ball soup give you curly hair? Ridiculous. *rolls eyes*What kind of vitamins or diet will make my hair naturally straight %26amp; soft? NOT asking for shampoos, gels, etc.
Nothing, really. Vitamins and diet only have a significant effect on hair if it's the difference between being severely malnourished or healthy.
Accept your hair for what it is. Work with what nature gave you. Life is too short to always be fighting with your hair.
use a Bore Bristle brush! Brush each side 50 strokes twice a day. Use shampoos and rinses that have little or no alkali (Acid)
They will cost you more money. Put rice in your diet! Why rice, think of all the countries that have rice as their main diet. What king of hair do they all have?acne

And for shower gel, I use the Hollister one sometimes, and most of the time, i use this like strawberry scented one that my Stepmom gave to me.
Old spice body wash, I dunno how to describe it but I guess it combines smooth skin and it cleans deep.
Or at least thats what the label says, but I really like the smell of it.
Then I guess I use Suave hairspray/conditioner.

I have very complicated hair .. good shampoo/gels/tips for my hair? Please! :)?
Okay, Well, my dad has straight hair and my mom has thick, curly hair.
I got a mix between them both... so my hair is thick, and straight at the top, but the ends naturally curl in. (Which is NOT how i want them! I want them STICK straight, especially at the ends)
When I hairspray my hair, it doesn't stay in place (straight) because the ends are curling in within 20 minutes, and even when i use herbal essences straight, or pantene pro v 18 hours straight, it doesn't make a difference. My hair does well to stay the way I want it for ten minutes.
The other problem is my split ends... my hair is getting a little damaged from all the blow-drying and straightening, but i have no other option. I have to wash my hair in the morning, because even though it has a dry-ish texture, it gets oily VERY VERY quick.
I'm getting a new straightener for christmas, so this problem may be eliminated when i get a better straightener and serum to protect my hair with, but what can I do until then?
Shampoo suggestions for thick, rebellious hair that will NEVER stay the way I want it to without fuss?
I have very complicated hair .. good shampoo/gels/tips for my hair? Please! :)?
omg im the same as you!
my father has straight blonde hair and my mom has thick curly black hair
so the top of my hair is straight and the bottom is wavy/curly
this is what i do...
i bought a chi flat iron, and so far its working really well, and that hair flat iron is supposed to be the best on the market and protect your hair
i use herbal essence hello hydration shampoo and conditioner, and then i deep condition with aussie 3 minute miracle. then i let it airdry, and i wrap it around my head so some of the waves flatten in the morning. then i run the flat iron in my hair, with heat protection, and then put a little hair spray and frizz spray.
also, those straightening shampoos dont really work. i think if you dont want to fuss with your hair you should think about getting a japanese perm.

I have some of the best shower gels and lotions, powders and sunblock products, too. My fave is a shampoo and a lotion that smell just like CHOCOLATE!!!! I kid you not. Will i have too use certain shampoo . gels . hairspary etc?
because im dying my hair just like this its not me !

im getting it permanet not semi and i kno wash it with cold water what else ? kind of things i should use and not use ?? its black underneath if you cant see itWill i have too use certain shampoo . gels . hairspary etc?
You'll want to use a professional moisturizing shampoo and conditioner every time you wash your hair.
You'll want to do a professional hot oil treatment every month to strengthen your hair.
Professional products are always best as the don't buildup on the hair as fast and hey are formulated to build strength and elasticity within the hairshaft.
There are 2 important things to remember when you're conditioning....
1. Squeeze the excess water out of your hair before you apply the conditioner. Your hair is like a sponge. If you put a soaking wet sponge on water....it won't do anything because it's full of water. If your hair is full of water....the conditioner will go down the drain. If you put a damp sponge on water....it soaks the water up. The same thing happens with damp hair...the conditioner will go INTO the hairshaft.
2. Rinse the conditioner with lukewarm water. Luke warm to your hands...it will feel slightly cool on your head. If you use very hot water...you will open the cuticle layer and flush out all the conditiner you just put in...back down the drain. Luke warm water will rinse the excess off the outside of the hairshaft....but the inside will retain the what you put in.
Apply a thermal proctectant to the hair prior to blowdrying.
Finally finish with a moisturizing leave-in conditoner. This can be applied to wet or dry hair.
Loma makes excellent products.
Hydrating shampoo and conditioner
Paul Brown Booster ( thermal protectant)
Paul Brown Kukui nut hot oil ( hot oil treatment)
Loma Peratin Serum ( finishing conditioner)
All of these products are concentrated and take about the size of a pea to a dime size to use in your hair. Will i have too use certain shampoo . gels . hairspary etc?
Yes. You need to protect the color since red fades the fastest especially with sunlight.

What are shower gels and bath gels used for? can you use them as soap AND shampoo?
i'm considering switching from soap, but do i need to get rid of my shampoo from Trader Joes? Thanks. What are shower gels and bath gels used for? can you use them as soap AND shampoo?
shower gel acts as a soap, and you should DEFENITELY not use it on your hair. It will strip you hair of all it's natural oils and make it dry and tangled. What are shower gels and bath gels used for? can you use them as soap AND shampoo?
shower gel can replace soap. i like it a lot better then soap actually. i'd reccomend not using the gel as shampoo tho cause it's just not made strictly for hair. stick to shampoo.

What kind of shampoo's, conditioner's, vitamens, gels anything that is affordable and helps your hair grow
Faster, longer and healther? What kind of shampoo's, conditioner's, vitamens, gels anything that is affordable and helps your hair grow
Massage small amounts of fresh or canned coconut milk into the scalp and keep overnight if possible or at least for a few hours. This procedure will help hair grow longer, thicker and also make your hair look soft and shiny. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c?/a> for more remedies and details. What kind of shampoo's, conditioner's, vitamens, gels anything that is affordable and helps your hair grow
There is nothing you can do to make your hair grow faster. It only grows about 1/2'; a month. However, there are some things you can do to improve hair growth and circulation!
Vitamins help your hair (and nails) grow. Vitamin A, B, C, E are the most helpful. I like to take Super Biotin for my hair and nails. Biotin is great for helping nails and hair grow out healthier.
Massaging your scalp helps increase circulation which stimulates hair follicles to faster growth.
Eat healthy foods too. Fruits and brightly colored vegetables are high in nutrients you need for better growth.
Moisture is also important for better hair health. Your hair and nails need just as much, if not more moisture, as your skin. Drink lots of water and use moisturizing deep conditioners on your hair. During the summer heat, spritz your hair with water during the day to increase moisture.
Gels will not help your hair grow. Many gels actually contain alcohol which is very drying to your hair, so check labels before you use them. Good luck!
Hi,
I'm not sure if theese will make your hair grow any longer because I HAVE extreamly long hair. Try theese: Olive Oil, Doo Gro, and Motions it's good for my hair so it's good for yours. For greeases for your hair try Liv and T.c.b. naturals. There really good!
Good Luck,

Good Question!!! I dont know!!!
because.
I think the products must have a white soap base. I have wondered the same thing, but I don't stay awake worrying about it. I'll watch your answers, maybe this conundrum will be solved.

What shampoo works better for curing dandruff and flakes.......head and shoulders or neutrogena t gel?
A shampoo called Medi-Dan. A HUGE bottle @ $7.99 or so.
GUARANTEED to get rid of flakes and itch of excema seborrhea, and sorrhiasis, guaranteed.
ALL flakes are not dandruff. NEVER use your fingernails on your scalp. THAT will cause flakes. Don't use a dandruff shampoo if you think you are using your fingernails to shampoo.
Dandruff is waxy, oily buildup ON YOUR SCALP, and CAN BE SPREAD through brushes and combs and the like.
NOW--DO YOU JUST HAVE FLAKES OR DO YOU HAVE DANDRUFF?
ALSO. Expect flakes in the winter if you do not condition. Conditioner will keep you from being popped by elecricity in the winter IF you condition. Winter AND Summer. Condition the ends first then run it to the scalp. You should use pea-sized or butterbean-sized drops of conditioner, and that's all it takes. If your hair is getting oily too soon, you used too much.

You don't HAVE to use Duke shampoo.... But you should get optimal results with the Duke shampoo AND conditioner. I'm telling you dude, you should get both DUKE shampoo AND conditioner. No, they just want you to buy more of the Duke products. You can use whatever you want. Sometimes using the same name brand products, enhances the products though.I got some Duke gel pomade, and it says to use Duke shampoo, does it matter if I don't use the Duke shampoo?

Good Luck,
Ty Michelle W
you can take prenatal vitamins (spelling?)
but thats exactly what they are for.. to help your hair grown faster, and that includes your nails too.

What cases hair fall? Gatzby green hair gel or Head and shoulders silk and shile shampoo?
i say the shampoo.. some shampoo are too harsh for the scalp.. it's even worse when you shampoo every day or more than once a day.. the gel should be harmless unless you put your gel onto your scalp..What cases hair fall? Gatzby green hair gel or Head and shoulders silk and shile shampoo?
Hmm usually not a shampoo or hair gel. Aging, stress, and hair damage do to coloring and too many products could cause hair to fall out. What cases hair fall? Gatzby green hair gel or Head and shoulders silk and shile shampoo?
Hair loss or baldness is caused mainly due to the lack of Vitamin B supplements. Vitamin B5 contains pantothenic acid and B3 (niacin that is vital for hair growth). B6 is equally important to the body, as it contains the nutrients of zinc, sulfur, magnesium and biotin.
An interesting fact about Vitamin B: Certain experiments were conducted with rats and they were fed with food that lacked magnesium supplements. It was found that they lost their hair in bunches and when they were provided with a low biotin diet they turned hairless. But to the surprise of all, their hair returned when they were fed with food rich in Vitamin B. Similar studies were conducted on men and it was found that Vitamin B enriches the quality of hair. The body also requires Vitamin A. Fatty acids such as primrose oil, flaxseed oil or salmon oil need to be consumed for enhancing hair growth.
Vitamin E is meant for stimulating the oxygen intake in the body and improves the blood circulation. If there is proper blood circulation, hair growth is enhanced. Vitamin C assists the normal functioning of capillaries that carries the blood to the scalp. Even zinc is an important supplement, which should be consumed as it assists hair growth.
Biotin is necessary for hair growth. There are many sources of biotin such as brewer's yeast, brown rice, bulgur, green peas, lentils, oats, soybeans, sunflower seeds, and walnuts. It is present in some shampoos, so you can use shampoos, which contain biotin. It is advised to consult a physician before taking any vitamins or medications for hair growth
Massage your scalp regularly with olive oil...this may enhance hair growth.
Take care.
You can stop hair loss using many cheap and effective home remedies. Egg white, lemon juice, oil massage are other home remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm?/a> will prevent further problems.

Has anyone used that Neutrogena T-Gel Extra Strength Shampoo?
I have a really itchy scalp. I am currently using Equate Therapeutic Shampoo it's suppose to be the generic version of Neutrogena T-Gel Original or whatever. Has anyone used the Extra strength shampoo? I am considering buying it. I'm running out of options. I've tried most dandruff shampoos and they haven't done anything. Please help!Has anyone used that Neutrogena T-Gel Extra Strength Shampoo?
My husband and daughter both have Psoriasis and they have used both.
The equate worked pretty well, but to be honest, I can't stand the odor it leaves on their hair. It actually makes me feel physically sick. Others commented to my daughter who is 19, that her hair smelled terrible. After several bottles of it, we quit and switched to the Neutrogena T-gel extra strength. It has I believe 4% tar instead of the regular strength's 2%.
The extra strength works very, very well for both of them. They used to use Denorex's extra strength tar shampoo but they quit manufacturing it. They both actually have found better results with Neutrogena's extra strength.
If these don't work, see if you can get to a dermatologist who can make sure you don't have something else going on with your scalp like a fungus. Also, a dermatologist can prescribe a shampoo with an even higher percentage of tar.
Best of luck to this frustrating problem.Has anyone used that Neutrogena T-Gel Extra Strength Shampoo?
You can use this shampoo as many times as you want per week. Personally, my family does best if it is used every day with a non greasy conditioner on the ends of the hair only. Hope this helps! Report Abuse
i use the neutrogena t-gel shampoo and it has worked wonders for me. whenever it gets a little worse (too much blow drying or swimming and washing too much) i use the more expensive kerastase anti dandruff treatment recommended by my hair dressers. this definitely helps lift the flakiness even more but i don't use it that often (maybe once a month)
one thing to note is that you shouldn't condition the roots of your hair at all if you have a dandruff problem, only use conditioner on your hair.
yes it works!! it costs a bit more but it is worth it
it should tell you on the back how many times to use it per week. it stinks.. but what i do is just wash the problem area(s) and then wash with my regular shampoo which smells good. also, tgel makes your hair look SOOO clean and shiny! i use it two or three times a week.
Just finding the right shampoo won't cut it. I'm sure u've tried many products which don't work... loss of time and money.
Seems like you have a problem with ur sebaceous glands. so you need to find what's stimulating them @ first place.
The symptoms u're having are:
-Oily hair
-Itchy scalp
-Dandruff
-An oily skin around the nose area
This can be either because u are on an improper diet (fat consumption), either u have a hormonal imbalance, or u're on anabolic steroids.
So u need some vitamin A supplements for starter (eat loads of carrots)... cut back from steroids if u're on any... Consult an endocrinologist to check ur homonal balance.
Try using shampoos that contain ';clay'; as it absorbs oily residues... and stop spending money on Neutrogena-T-Gel-Extra-Strength-Shampoo-?products.

When I add citric acid to my shampoo formulation (contains SLES, CAPB, DEA Poly-Q) , it turns into a gel. WHY?
Your shampoo contains catIonic surfactants. When you add and anion, it neutralises a surface charges, so particles can clump together.
How many of u out there use flat iron or hair serum or gel or nothing except shampoo and conditioner.?
how is ur hair looks like. dry, silky or wavyHow many of u out there use flat iron or hair serum or gel or nothing except shampoo and conditioner.?
I love my flat iron, but it does make my hair look kind of dry. Recently I started using products by Carol's Daughter and my hair is much shinier and healthier. And I use a gold plated bumper curling iron. Haven't had any split end problems. How many of u out there use flat iron or hair serum or gel or nothing except shampoo and conditioner.?
well everyday before i go to highschool i add vo5 silk serum in my hair. sometimes my bed hair looks really hot, whilst sometimes it looks disgusting. i use it when i h8 my hair coz it thins it up and it holds the style. it is more healthier than gel and way more cheaper than adding leave in conditioner in {ive tried that, takes ages to style}. yeh and i use anti frizz {purple} sunsilk shampoos and conditioners because my hair is thick, sometimes frizzy. after i style it it is soft and straight and really shiny. but naturally its straw like and coloured brown. {i natrually have black hair}
my hair is slightly wavy and really think so i just use shampoo and conditioner. it looks silky and doesn't tangle easily. i avoid the 1+ hours it takes to straighten my hair with a flat iron because it isn't worth it and it is bad for your hair.
i use serum and a flat iron....it naturaly curly and i straiten it....if i dont straiten it it is frizzy no matter what i put in it....is that all you wanted to know?
i use an iron sometimes but hardly.. i dont like gel.. i only shampoo and condition my hair is silky..
SHAMPOO...CONDITIONER AND DEEP CONDITIONING CREAM FOR BLEACHED AND COLORED HAIR....
I use a moisturizing shampoo even though I don't have dry hair. I only condition once every couple of weeks. My hair is straight to wavy with small curls around my face when it's humid... Generally shiny... I also use a shampoo once every couple of weeks that's supposed to remove the build up and pollutants from my hair... My hair always looks just a tiny shade lighter afer I use it. Most mornings I blow dry my hair...
I use hair serum almost daily it keeps my hair smooth and shiny, its pretty thick so i sometimes use a flat iron.
Well,it depends...Naturally my hair is wavy.If i am just going to be around the house or doing something that doesnt envolve me going out somewhere i just shampoo and conditioner(Herbal Essence,to be exact) and the i just pull it back i dont use any other product on it.If i am going somewhere i use a flat iron generally, sometimes curling iron it actually all depends on where i am going and what the occasion is.If its to the grocery store,i do not do anything special with my hair.I usually pull it back and either put it in a bun or do something to get it back out of my way.It just depends, either way i dont use hair serum, sometime gel as i said before that depends. On a daily basis i just shampoo and conditioner and pull it back.My hair is silky but wavy, thank you for asking.
i shampoo, condition, and sometimes use a serum or leave in conditioner.. i let it air dry overnight and then straighten it in the morning with a ceramic flat iron.. it doesnt look too bad. the ends could be a little silkier, but i just havent had them trimmed in a while
i shampoo and condition/ then i dry and use a straightner. I cant use any sprays or gels cause my haire will look all greasy, but without it my hair still looks smooth and shiny. real nice!!!
I use Garnier Fruictis (sp?) long and strong shampoo and conditioner only and my hair is really thick, and down past my waist. It has a natural slight wave but is really soft if I blow-dry it. I'm told the strands are really thin though so I do not have sleek, straight hair. After trying many shampoos in the past, I am very happy with the results of this product. I never use any gels or sprays because it weighs it down even more and takes alot of time to wash my hair and get it to dry. If my hair is half as long as it is now, it waves more with less weight.
I love my flat iron, but it does make my hair look kind of dry. Recently I started using products by Carol's Daughter and my hair is much shinier and healthier. And I use a gold plated bumper curling iron. Haven't had any split end problems. How many of u out there use flat iron or hair serum or gel or nothing except shampoo and conditioner.?
well everyday before i go to highschool i add vo5 silk serum in my hair. sometimes my bed hair looks really hot, whilst sometimes it looks disgusting. i use it when i h8 my hair coz it thins it up and it holds the style. it is more healthier than gel and way more cheaper than adding leave in conditioner in {ive tried that, takes ages to style}. yeh and i use anti frizz {purple} sunsilk shampoos and conditioners because my hair is thick, sometimes frizzy. after i style it it is soft and straight and really shiny. but naturally its straw like and coloured brown. {i natrually have black hair}
my hair is slightly wavy and really think so i just use shampoo and conditioner. it looks silky and doesn't tangle easily. i avoid the 1+ hours it takes to straighten my hair with a flat iron because it isn't worth it and it is bad for your hair.
i use serum and a flat iron....it naturaly curly and i straiten it....if i dont straiten it it is frizzy no matter what i put in it....is that all you wanted to know?
i use an iron sometimes but hardly.. i dont like gel.. i only shampoo and condition my hair is silky..

Ok, what is the difference between T/GEL and T/sal shampoo from neutrogina ?
for the itchy scalp ...Ok, what is the difference between T/GEL and T/sal shampoo from neutrogina ?
hey i found this :
Neutrogena T/Sal Therapeutic Shampoo with 3% Salicylic Acid utilizes 3 percent salicylic acid as its active ingredient which helps exfoliate built up dead skin cells. Neutrogena T/Gel Original Shampoo contains coal tar which reduces the production of skin cells. They can be combined into a syngergistic dandruff routine, using them on different days
HOpe that answers the questionOk, what is the difference between T/GEL and T/sal shampoo from neutrogina ?
about 5 bucks i think
they both taste the same

Coal tar shampoo/Neutrogena T-Gel when pregnant?
I am 8 1/2 weeks along and have been getting flaky scalp! Last week, I used a very small amount of the Neutrogena T-gel shampoo without thinking about it, and now I'm worried that I shouldn't have used it! I've been seeing things on the internet and making myself scared. I obviously won't use it again, but do I have anything to be really concerned about? Has anyone used it or talked to your Dr. about it?Coal tar shampoo/Neutrogena T-Gel when pregnant?
I have talked to my regular doc and ob gyn. They both say it is a class C. That means it has not been tested on humans due to possible problems in rats/ mice. They both said do not use it. Supposedly apple cider vinegar is a natural safe remedy. Sometimes I just put globs of lotion on my head at night and wash hair good in the morning if it gets really bad. No, do not worry right now. Using something one time will not do damage. It would be a possible problem if you used it on a regular basis. You are fine.

No, don't use it everyday. Use it 2 to 3 times a week. Yes, it will strip off hair color.T-gel neutrogena dandruff shampoo..can you use it everyday?
You can use it everyday...It wont mess up your hair, if anything it will make the process go faster. I have colored hair and it has never stripped my color....I just wouldnt reccomend using it as a regular shampoo once your hair is treated
Hi, i think all anti dandruff is drying and strips off the mineral oils from ur scalp. Well i can know where u can buy Neutrogena T gel shampoo in Singapore?
I use that and it is very good... I dont normally use colour so Im not completely sure, but I dont think it does strip colour. I use it every other day with no problem, so I think it should be fine to use it every day.

Should I wash my hair every other day with Neutrogena T-Gel Threapeutic Shampoo?
I have recently purchased Neutrogena's T-Gel Threapeutic Shampoo and I was wondering if it would be more effective if I washed my hair every other day because the natural oils need to keep my hair healthy.
But I've read on the back of the packet and it says consult your doctor how many times to use it a week! But I got it from Boots so I can't really consult a doctor! Anyway it also says wash your hair until the dandruff starts disappearing then use it every other day! I'm so confused can anyone give me any advice please?Should I wash my hair every other day with Neutrogena T-Gel Threapeutic Shampoo?
I work at a p[harmacy and this is what I would do.Rub some olive oil into scalp.Get a fine toothed comb and gently scrape the scalp all over lifting up the scale that causes dandruff(this part only needs to be done once a week. Then shampoo with the T-Gel.Only use T-Gel twice a week.Use regular shampoo the other washes through the week, however many times you need to wash. Then do the oil thing again a week later.Don't wear hats too often either because this encourages dandruff.Under their hair people with dandruff have areas about size of a coin of dry flakey skin(dandruff)which sheds in flakes into the hair. When you olive oil it,it softens them and the combing of the skin loosens it off into your hair. Then you wash it out,you will notice quite a bit of dandruff as you do this but after a few weeks it will be gone and then it's this regime as often as you need it to keep it under control.CheersShould I wash my hair every other day with Neutrogena T-Gel Threapeutic Shampoo?
Washing your hair every other day is a good idea. If you have dandruff then washing your hair everyday will just make it worse.

I am using Neutrogena t gel for shampoo, but what conditioner should I use? Help?
I use the Neutrogena t gel shampoo because I recently randomly started getting flakes in my hair, and my hair is dark, so it is showing well at my part mostly. I like the way it makes my hair look but I have used natural biotin conditioner and deep conditioners with it, but the deep conditioner made it oil only on the hair, and both left my scalp still kind of dry, causing a dry root in my hair and such. Should I use the t gel conditioner? I want something that will condition my scalp and roots but not oily for my hair. Thank you so much, [[:I am using Neutrogena t gel for shampoo, but what conditioner should I use? Help?
Conditioners have a lot of oil in them. You can try the one by Neutrogena to see if it helps. Also, Infusium 23 has a leave-in that's not oily.

Shower Gel used as shampoo?
I know this might sound wierd, but has anyone that buys bath and body works shower gel used it as shampoo before? I'm asking because I don't want to walk around with so many different fragrances anymore. Let me know how it made your hair better or worse. Thank You!Shower Gel used as shampoo?
No, it doesnt clean your hair well and you should usee that just in order to clean and moisturize your body.Shower Gel used as shampoo?
why not? i kno someone who washes his hair with ordinary soap?
You have to get one that specifically says it's ok for hair. Some body washes may have a pH level that is damaging to hair. Slightly acidic washes are best for hair, and have the effect of ';smoothing'; the hair, but slightly basic ones tend to have the effect of ';frizzing'; the hair strands. Liquid soap is usually basic, but some body washes are not.
Yup :0) There are certain shower gels that are designed for use on your hair too. Personally I prefer Sonic Death Monkey by Lush.

Use bath gel for shampoo?
Is it all right to use bath gel instead of shampooUse bath gel for shampoo?
NO! Of course not! Bath gel is VERY, VERY, VERY bad for your hair. Hair likes the opposite of what skin likes. Hair likes cool water, skin likes warm. Hair likes shampoo, skin likes bath gel. Bath gel can dry out your hair and is bad for your scalp if you have dandruff. That's why God made shampoo...so we wouldn't have awful hair.

My hair is now very strawy and brittle looking from the use of T-Gel (dandruff shampoo) how do I make it......?
shiny and silky again? My hair is now very strawy and brittle looking from the use of T-Gel (dandruff shampoo) how do I make it......?
have you been using this shampoo for a while or is this a new thing?
usually when you've been using the same kind of shampoo for a while, your hair will sort of ';get used to it'; and it just wont work the same.
try switching up shampoos every so often. it should probably help. it happened to me before and this worked for me.My hair is now very strawy and brittle looking from the use of T-Gel (dandruff shampoo) how do I make it......?
I am not too familiar with T-Gel, but what I do know is that you should not make regular use of a dandruff shampoo if you are not 100% sure that you have dandruff. You could probably have scalp build-up and that is totally different from dandruff. Scalp build-up is treatable, just investing in a clarifying shampoo, organic and naturally based. Try Essentious Exonerate Shampoo and Essentious Rejuvenate Conditioner. Both are available at www.essentious.com for $19.99 for an eight ounce bottle and $34.99 for a sixteen ounce bottle.
Massage small amounts of fresh or canned coconut milk into the scalp and keep overnight if possible or at least for a few hours. This procedure will help hair look soft and shiny. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c for more remedies and details.
use ojon ultra hydrating shampoo and conditioner after .I've been using T-gel for yrs and it's the only thing that helped

Do you use a scented bath gel or bar soap and which brand? What brand of shampoo and conditioner do you use?
LOL, I have used many different kinds but have found a line just put out within the last year i think that is real good, Suave puts out this Mango Passion red body wash gel... If not only works really good for lather but omg! does it invigorate the senses.... lol And I also use all kinds of Suave shampoo and Conditioners, they work just as good as the other more expensive brands.. :)Do you use a scented bath gel or bar soap and which brand? I love lux soap from the middle east. Its so creamy and smells so great. I always stock up when I travel there because I cannot find it anywhere. I even emailed the company and they told me I was out of luck. So I usually use shower gels, particularly the ones from Bath %26amp; Body works. I love the sun ripened raspberry (though I think that has been doscontinued), the japanese cherry blosson, and citrus mango. For shampoo I use Herbal essences or Garnier FructisDo you use a scented bath gel or bar soap and which brand? What brand of shampoo and conditioner do you use?
Chi products because my hair is dry and I need good products but money is tight so spending in excess of twenty dollars on hair shampoo is ridiculous so I am looking for a good replacement that is less expensive.
I use the liquid Dove, with the aloe and natural oils. It really works. For shampoo and conditioner I use Pantene Pro-V Relaxed and Natural.
I love strawberry scented shower gel %26amp; soaps that you can smell all over the house after use.
Dove creme shampoo %26amp; John Frieda conditioner usually works for me.
I use Aussie Shampoo damn it smells SOOO nice Tutti fruity feel like tasting it :)
Body wash/soap: Sanctuary (spa convent garden)
For Hair its Advance techniques from Avon, the green one
and for bath gel, i use Palmolive, the one from the 99p shop, :P
I use Dove bath shower gel and I use Garnier Shampoo and conditioner it just bounces my hair well and really gives them a healthy look ~!
Unfortunately it's 'Simple' soap for me due to sensitive skin.
Shampoo is head 'n' shoulders!
I use Irish Spring soap and Pantene shampoo and conditioner (separately, not the two in one kind).
I use Imperial Leather lavender shower cream, and Tresemme shampoo and conditioner.
I use Dove (the pink one!) as a bar soap...
and I use Herbal Essences for Shampoo and conditioner!
And I have been using those two products for as long as I remember!!! Love them!
my mum bought this new one. called skin bliss. by imperial leather..it smells unbelievable. Its so dang gooood..amazing
I use erm..head and shoulders. :)
I use Dove.

When can i start using baby shampoo and baby shower gels on a baby?
my ds is 2 months old he has a bath every day as he spits up a lot of milk and ends up being smelly. how many months does he need to be before i can use bay products on him? When can i start using baby shampoo and baby shower gels on a baby?
I used Johnson %26amp; Johnson shampoo/body wash on my son from day one. I never used shower gels on him... but his shampoo was also a body wash. Aveeno also makes good baby bath products. I used their body wash.shampoo on my son during the winter when his skin got very dry. When can i start using baby shampoo and baby shower gels on a baby?
I have been using them on my daughter ever since I was able to give her a real bath. Before the cord fell off I just used the ready to use wipes for the bath but when it fell off i switched to shampoo and body wash. There is no harm in them, they are made for babies!! And my little girl loves her bathtime with the shampoos and stuff.
When my baby was born and got his first sponge bath at the hospital, they used Johnson and Johnson body wash for his body and hair and gave us the rest of the bottle. My nurse said you can use it right away, just to be careful around the cord stub.
You could have been using them from day one, really. Most baby shampoos/soaps are geared towards milder skin and you can get some that are fragrance free as well. I used Johnson %26amp; Johnson head to toe at first but now we use Huggies brand and haven't had any problems with either.
at his first bath in the hospital they used Johnsons on him and thats what i have used ever since.I think he is more than ready for baby soap. They also make hypoallergenic soap if you are concerned of a reaction i believe huggies makes it
You can use Johnsons or Burt's Bees immediately. Johnsons makes a great smelling bath called Soothing Bedtime Bath, smells like lavender. That would probably be a nice break from the 'eau de spit-up you've been expeiencing!!
Good luck!
generally, parents bathe their babes from birth. this may be why your babe smells. if you notice alot of reflux, burp more frequently %26amp; modify your diet as something you eat may affect the breastmilk -consult the pediatrician on this.
You can use 'baby' products on a baby from the beginning day you bring him home.
We used Johnson and Johnson's soap/shampoo right away and still use it....it smells soo good.
I started useing them with his sponge baths before cord fell off. Your little one is ready for tub baths (not big tub little tub).
Huh? You can use baby products on him from birth. That's why they are baby products.
We have been using them since our son's very first bath. I think you are perfectly fine to go ahead!

Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo?
How often would you suggest using Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo?
I do have dandruff, but it's not terrible so i'm worried it might cause damage?
perhaps once or twice a week?Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo?
no way it wont cause damage. it will just ensure your dandruff from occuring. except i recommend equate TGel. its the same exact thing except lower price.

Can shower gel/body wash be used as shampoo?
ummm unless you want to end up picking out all your hair from the drain.. I mean... unless your a guy... it wouldn't matter... might as well just use a bar of soap..Can shower gel/body wash be used as shampoo?
Yes, it can, especially if you're male and/or don't worry so much about having perfect hair. If you're female and/or you do care about drying out your hair or not having it be fluffy enough, I'd say stick with actual shampoo. If it's an emergency and you're out of shampoo, it would probably be better to just rinse your hair and put conditioner in...unless your hair is really dirty for some reason (like you rolled in mud or something). But if you're not overly concerned about your hair and would prefer it to be clean, you can use body wash instead of shampoo in an emergency. Don't do it on a regular basis. There's a reason they have separate things called shampoo and body wash. Can shower gel/body wash be used as shampoo?
If your out of shampoo for a day, sure.. I had bought a shower gel/body wash once and it did say you could shampoo your hair with it. But most aren't for double duty..... For the kids line---there are many..
i don't think so
yeah i have done it in a pinch. i would not do it all the time but once in a blue moon is not bad.
No its not made for this-but guys will use it for this and soap bars!
Its drying out for your hair.
Philosophy puts out one that u can use for all body, hair and skin really really pricey.
i accidentally did that once and all it really did was make my hair smell really good. i wouldn't recommend doing it on a regular basis though cause it's not meant to go on your head. i think (and i'm just basically bullshitting but i might be right) that it would strip too much oil from your hair because it's designed to clean skin and whatnot. that would mean your hair would be dry and gross. :)
No. That's why they call it BODY WASH! But if must you can but it may do some damage.
Unless it says so, its not intended to be used for both. The only brands that I can think of that are dual purpose are Philosophy, Axe and Old Spice, but I'm sure there are others.
It can be but its not a very good alternative
Yes, it can, especially if you're male and/or don't worry so much about having perfect hair. If you're female and/or you do care about drying out your hair or not having it be fluffy enough, I'd say stick with actual shampoo. If it's an emergency and you're out of shampoo, it would probably be better to just rinse your hair and put conditioner in...unless your hair is really dirty for some reason (like you rolled in mud or something). I plan to make my hair curly with styling gel, If I use Wash N' Curl shampoo before will it help?
I want to use hair gel and a blow dryer to make my hair curly but I dont want to have to use alot of gel so there is a bit of bounce, If I use Wash N Curl shampoo before will it make it easier for me to get the desired curls?I plan to make my hair curly with styling gel, If I use Wash N' Curl shampoo before will it help?
OK first of all you are a guy!!! but there is no way that you can get curly hair the way that you want! so if you are really serious about this hole wanting curly hair thing i would recommend a curling iron. But i would leave your hair the way that it isI plan to make my hair curly with styling gel, If I use Wash N' Curl shampoo before will it help?
your a boy!!
NO NO NO
Shampoo does absolutely NOTHING to make curly hair.
NOTHING%26gt;
I think it sucks that they are allowed to print that on there.....
do you have curly hair?
no products will make your hair curly just because they have it written it on the box.
you DO know that, right?
How do you plan to make curls with a blowdryer and gel?
i am confused.

yes. it will help it alot (it helps my hair at least). and if you want it extra curly, dont brush your hair when you come out of the shower - it keeps your natural waves in. i would also recommend letting it air dry. blow dry will make it dry faster, therefore making it starighter.
